He has a lot of games where heāll hit 4 or 5 threes in the first quarter and itāll make me tune into the game in hopes of seeing a record being broken. But both his volume and percentages drop off in the 2Q and 4Q (but by that I mean closer to 40% rather than 50% so itās still elite).

Can someone explain how Dincan was 4/4 in the first, and I watched him hit his 5th in the second quarter, heard the announcer say he was 5/5, and then somehow he ended the game 4/6 from three and 4/7 overall? Itās not like they retroactively took one of his threes into a two, it just disappeared. What the hell happened?
During a timeout after his fifth the refs went to the monitor and said his heel was out of bounds when he took the shot and took it off the boards.
Not that thereās a good chance the Olympics happen butā¦

Realistically they should pick him. Team USA became better when they started trying build an actual cohesive roster rather than assemble the best players regardless of fit. Lebron and co. would love to have Duncan spacing the floor in international ball

Duncan is the perfect player for international basketball. Team USA, now that the stars are done with it, needs to build actual rosters that can be cohesive.
Not sure the stars are done. They show up for the Olympics, itās the other tournaments they donāt come for. But with this being so close to the end of the season I could see players that make it far in the playoffs not go. Which technically could include Duncan. But heās young and would never ever have this chance again so he would likely still be interested
