Sure does look like Mo’s baiting him pretty hard. Heh.
I believe this came right after Giannis plowed into Moe on a charge. Is that correct?
If Giannis got upset with a little trash talk and physical (not flagrant) play to do this I would hate for him to here the things we said back in the day. The NBA has some super stars feeling like they should be totally untouchable and at this point Giannis is so full of himself. He seems to get testy to quick to often.
5 years ago KG head butt Dwight Howard and got one game
Trey had a tough night as the starting PG, especially defensively last night - admittedly, a hard mark on Lillard, but he and Kristaps got roasted again and again as the Blazers ran pick and roll after pick and roll. Lillard scored or assisted every Blazer point from 9:30 left in the Q4 until McCollum got intentionally fouled with 12 seconds left.
Headbutting Dwight Howard is basically a public service though.
Normally a comment like that would net me a bunch of a weird looks as I roared with laughter at my desk. Working from home all I got was a slight head turn from my dog.
One game suspension for Giannis:
Pretty wimpy response for hitting someone on the head.
Superstar treatment for sure. If it was reverse and Wagner head-butted the MVP, then you can almost guarantee he would have gotten longer suspension.
One game ain’t so bad. Sets a bad precedent IMO. Someone may as well go ahead and headbutt a superstar in the playoffs. Could be worth it to throw off the star of the other team if you’re just a role player yourself.
The precedent was 1 game as borne out when KG did the same thing.
So then it’s settled. Let’s get some more headbutts. Much less risk of a long term suspension than throwing hands, but more effective at releasing frustration than yelling loudly.
I guess one game is better than what John Starks got back in the day.
He’s not playing tonight but GRIII had 15 & 7 for the Sixers last night.
Duncan with 19 and 3 assists at the half. Shooting 5/7 from 3.
Uhhh, Iguodala knows he played with Steph right?!?! Jk. That’s extremely lofty praise from a respected vet.
Duncan Robinson is the 3rd best shooter in the world after the splash bros.
given difficulty and volume of attempts, I think Lillard probably passed Klay.
My short list is Steph (until he demonstrates otherwise), Harden, Lillard, Duncan.
