Pretty confident that the OP was sarcasm.
5* players taking minutes away from better players is at the bottom of my list of things to worry about.
I think Cole comes back, but he’s sitting behind some lower rated recruits right now. In the meantime, Austin Davis is playing ahead of a much higher ranked recruit and is coming back for a 5th year, unlikely that happens under Beilein.
I think the culture looks the same. Coaches playing who they think give them the best chances to win. Fans finding some decisions to disagree about.
I will hope. And if so, pardon my lack of insight!
I certainly respect your opinion but the culture will most definitely change under new leadership. I think that’s OK, there was a reason JB never landed a 5* except for Mitch, maybe GRIII…but the culture will most definitely change. Time will tell…right now these are JB’s recruits.
I agree the culture and the profile of most recruits will be different. With that said, we’re still recruiting some guys (Dickinson, Williams, Jace) who project to be multi-year players, and every team needs role players. I’ll bet Juwan sees Bajema as James Voskuil type guy.
That would be great for Cole and the team, I guess we’ll see what happens. IMO, multi year players are the key to success. The landscape of the 5 star is so dynamic moving forward for the NCAA.
Duncan has hit 9, 8, and 7 threes the last 3 games. 24 For 37 (65%)
I hope Caris can find his way out of the disaster that is a Kyrie Irving led team in NJ. I know Vert and KD are tight, but I am not sure why anyone ties their wagon to Kyrie.
Duncan is having one of the greatest shooting seasons in NBA history. He’s on pace to hit 308 3’s at a 45.3% clip. The only player in NBA history to hit over 300 3’s and shoot over 45% in a season is Curry. He hit 402 which is just insane.
Also, talk about being underpaid. Duncan is on the books next year for $1.7 million. He could be due a huge contract after next season if he can even come close to replicating this shooting again next year.
This video shows all of Duncan’s 3s in his last 3 games. His penultimate 3 against the Wizards is especially interesting to watch because in the replay, you’ll see Moe’s funny facial expression on the bench post-make.
LOL. Moe just closes his eyes in frustration.
I believe Duncan and Moe had offsetting technicals called on each other for getting into a scuffle during the game. Of course, they’re best friends so it’s no big deal.
Totally agree, IMO Kenny Atkinson did a great job with ball movement and grooming the young men and his team. There is a new boss in town (KI), when he was on the floor it was a different game.
They should move Kyrie. Dinwiddie is a good PG (who actually passes the ball), and as long as Caris can stay healthy, that’s a real nice trio with KD. Jarrett Allen is also a decent player.
They aren’t going to do that. KD pretty much is there to play with him and they’re not going to tick off KD. Eventually Kyrie will tick him off and THEN maybe they’ll trade him but only then.
Right, I meant only with KD’s approval. I’ll bet at this time next year he’ll be leading the charge.
Haha, little snippet about that “altercation.” Love seeing these two make the most of opportunities. Wagner just needs to stay healthy - had it going in the early season, but that ankle injury messed up his rhythm.
Is there video of this “altercation”? Hilarious that a ref T’d both of them up
