I think in the 90s
Wasn’t he LaLu’s 6th man as a senior

He was, but if memory serves, it was a similar scenario to Zeb Jackson and Montverde. Transferred out of Wisconsin, for coaching and to play with the best. I believe that team was stacked that year.
Yeah it definitely was. Had JJJ and the kid who got Louisville in all sorts of trouble.
Looks like JJJ, Brian Bowen, Tyger Campbell.
Poole was #93
Livers #133
Burke #93
Hardaway #161
Stauskas #110
Levert #239
DJ Wilson #123
Franz and Mo - unranked internationals
Duncan - unranked
And if it’s going by the end of the year when he was on a NBA roster, Iggy was #40
THJ is in this pic so I’m sticking it here
Wow looks like most of the crew made the wedding party
Nik and THJ are repped by Josh’s dad, and I’m assuming Josh is the future of that agency
Josh is the current assistant GM of the Pistons. He could be headed down the path to being a future GM too (especially if these young pieces turn into something). Definitely has a bright future.
Totally forgot about that
Yeah, I believe he has been consistently rising with the Pistons and is a big part of what they are doing.
I wore a Michigan sweatshirt on a flight home from Vegas last September, and Bartlestein talked to me for a good 20 minutes pre-takeoff (we were aisle buddies that talked mostly about football - we beat UW, Oregon beat OSU).
I had no idea it was him until the baggage claim area when there was a driver with a sign for him. I regret not talking to him more about basketball. He’s clearly trending upwards and his reputation as a good dude was reaffirmed by a 20 minute conversation.
Plus, Beilein and J-Bart are with the Pistons.
Plus President Arn Tellum is a Michigan (law) grad.
Franz Wagner and Germany about to play France. No Mo though. He hurt his ankle and was ruled out of Euro Basket unfortunately.
Game is on ESPN+
Looks like the games are behind. They (FIBA? Germany) retired Dirk’s jersey
EDIT: Tipping off now
Franz just drew a charge on ball. I forgot Theis was German. They really were missing almost all their NBA guys except Mo last summer at the Olympics. They have a solid squad though.
Packed crowd and fun game if you have a chance to check it out
Iggy played 15 minutes for Lithuania against Slovenia today. Had 8 points
Its good to see Schroeder be abhorrently unplayable in euroball too. (franz needs to dunk that break, not lay it up so Yabusele can stuff it)
edit: 23 minutes later - can’t stress how awful Schroeder is. It doesn’t matter because these two Alba Berlin guys are basically Shaq and Kobe
he hasn’t played well, but he’s one of the only guys on the team that can dribble and he’s played decent defense. Niels Giffey and Johannes Thiemann going off for 27 points on 13 shots is independent of any PG play and probably something they can’t count on moving forward
Big time ISO bucket for Franz over Fournier to push the lead to 12. Then hits Theis for a pick and pop. Game over.
Franz has gotten the Evan Fournier assignment most of the time and Fournier is 2/10. No Batum or de Colo for France has hurt them a lot
Well their other PG (who is form Worcester Mass and went to Colubmia) is on a 13/5 with 0 turnovers, so that’s relevant to PG play.
I’ve been surprised the degree to which Franz has been uninvolved offensively
