That was quite the bounce of the wall in the corner to allow him to get the triple.
Our LF has had some issues in that corner too this week.
It would be nice to get at least 1 more run this inning.
Let’s get some more runs. 4th game in 4 days leads to some tired bullpens arms and some arms that aren’t used to pitching much. Can never have too big a lead
Since we were talking about earliest memories about men’s basketball in the other thread, I will mention that Chris Sabo taught me how to field bunts at 3rd base when I attended Michigan Baseball Camp.
Well, at least that was a solo HR.
Three bloop hits to left field. This is a slow bleed, but we can still get out of this inning… or not.
At least we got an out at the plate. 5-5, with 2 outs.
Okay. So last inning was a wash.
These games are not for the weak of heart. lol
Love the aggressive base running to get two in scoring position.
Still 5-5 and we can win it here!
Been a solid run for us!
Oh?
maybe?
Dayum.
We needed 3 Mitch Voits up that inning.
Penn State just had our number.
4 seed in the big ten with a second year coach. Lived up to the seeding in the tournament. Not too shabby of a season, boys
I was definitely a casual fan this season but it seems like they have a decent foundation, provided guys like Voit and Priest stay.
I do wish that the baseball and softball teams didn’t play so many home games at the same time. It’s a real disservice to both squads…and it makes parking pretty tough, especially since all the parking on State Street was taken away last year for a bike lane.

As a freshman at South Carolina, she did some pitching and also some hitting.
As a pitcher, she was both a starter and a reliever, finishing 4-0 with a 0.68 ERA and had 21 K’s in 24.1 innings.
As a hitter, she had a .268 average, and had 4 HR and 3 doubles in 41 AB’s.
After losing Keke to graduation, it’s nice to add a bat that looks to have a little pop.
