It was on ESPNU. We play Michigan State to go to the frozen four Sunday at 6:30pm on ESPN2. Should be a really intense game

Women’s lax lost today 8-6 vs #1 UMD. Down 2-0, played really well to go up 4-2 or maybe even 5-2, but obviously Maryland won the 2nd half fairly convincingly. Still the girls showed they are legitimately close to UMD which is a perennial power.
A possible silly coaching move, I thought, proved costly as they put their injured starting goalie in for the first time to start the 4th quarter. she gave up two quick goals and one seemed a little soft. Of course Maryland had a lot of momentum at the time so maybe it was an appropriate throw of the dice but it seemed very speculative.
That’s one of a handful of Michigan Athletic teams that I haven’t ever caught. I’m slacking!
I think she’s already got the most HR’s by a freshman in quite a few years.
