honestly, my comparison throughout the week was the unc/duke final four game with everyone knowing coach k is retiring. maybe the most bragging rights ever at stake in the history of a rivalry filled with high stakes, a game that has the power to shut up the other side forever, etc.
also, i appreciate dylan letting us have this one time to talk football. i know this is a basketball blog, but there’s a reason i discuss basketball with you folks rather than other people, and i’ve often wanted a similar spot for football, and this is a good occasion to get it for a short while!
