At least you spent money on a starter’s NIL merch
2024 Air Max Michigan’s released. They are alright, too much branding for me.

Mitten State brought back the zip hoodies
I’ve been slacking… Homefield box for 24 releases tomorrow which I think is a t-shirt/Hoodie/Sweatshirt/Joggers combo.
That’s a no for me. They have been pumping out some fugly stuff this year. It’s creeping into Meijer/Walmart territory with those designs.
Hoodie is terrible. Crew and t shirt are fine.
Their bomber jackets and baseball jerseys have been good, but t shirt and sweaters that aren’t for brand new teams have been lacking. Always expected that however.
The super oversized print just doesn’t do it for me. To charge $210 and throw in some socks that aren’t even team specific and a mesh hat instead of joggers is lame. Last year it was $200 flat for joggers, hoodie, baseball T and a flannel crew.
I get that doing your own printing allows them to come up with a hundred new designs a day, but nothing really feels special anymore. It’s all cookie cutter stuff from team to team now. Exactly the opposite of what Homefield was before the vendor switch when they actually had to create stuff they had to sell rather than hundreds of templates.
Yeah, the let’s copy everything from the 90s shtick is getting old.
And most of the stuff they pull was the cheesiest stuff from the 90’s.
I’m honestly surprised there hasn’t been a resurrection of the Looney Tunes sportswear.
I think there has been. People wear Spacejam jerseys
…is there actually a way to buy this
Only sites I can find stuff like it are Poshmark and Mercari
Yeah it resells. You can find them at vintage places
I remember that two or three years ago, I used to see social media posts from a vintage UofM clothing store in Ann Arbor. I’m not sure if they’re still going or not.
Yeah they’re still around I believe. They have a storefront even
MDen’s site is no longer available. They took it down as part of the reorganization and in anticipation of the sale of the company. I think there’s nice gif that sums up the ownership
It seems weird to me to go from having three stores (or more?) and a global presence on line, marketing a brand that pretty much sells itself, to this.
I worked there when I was in college. It went downhill after Doug and Dave, the original owners passed away.
Hopefully new ownership is a big improvement over Scott Hirth. Not like he had a good history anyway.
Legends Global Merchandise is the rumored buyer. They run the shops at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and so a really solid job. Nice mix of your large name brands, high end apparel (Johnnie-o, TravisMathew, etc.), collector’s items, local retailers, and apparel from local artists.
Will Johnson NIL swag working double duty as potential basketball team gear so far.
