I want to completely agree, but the skeptical part of me says those guys still probably got huge pay raises to fill ālesserā roles at Michigan than at FAU.

Itās impossible not to be excited about this staff. I love that May had a vision for what he wanted and clearly accomplished that. While itās no guarantee of success it sure is a step in the right direction. Outstanding hires.

Agreed. Just gotta hope we can hold onto them for as long as we can before they take better HC opportunities lol
Iām sure they got pay bumps, but itās still a hard sell. You really need to trust and respect the person youāre going to work for if they tell you, āIām going to pay you more, but youāre not as good as these guys so youāre getting a demotion.ā

Those new roles might require less recruiting which might suit some people. Iād assume those positions would require less traveling and some coaches want the work life balance.
If it also came with a raise, I wouldnāt consider that a demotion unless you have ambitions of becoming a head coach.
