Michigan announces four-man 2022 recruiting class

Michigan checks in at #10

Bossi’s analysis: The Wolverines have put together an interesting class that features a couple of guys who are safe bets to perform, plus a pair of wild cards. Strong, skilled and ready for the rigors of the Big Ten, Reed is a big man who should provide a nice complement to returning low post star Hunter Dickinson. The son of head coach Juwan Howard, Jett Howard is a wing with size and some athleticism who oozes confidence on the offensive end of the floor.

Maybe the X-factor of the class, McDaniel is a sub six-foot point guard whose ranking slid some over his senior year, but he’ll still arrive on campus as a four-star prospect who has quickness and playmaking chops to be an interesting change of pace. Glenn is another top 150 ranked piece and a forward who should be able to fit the role of a four man that can help on the glass while providing some post and mid-range scoring.

Bossi has been really down on Dug (hence the big drop in the rankings to #100) despite what I thought was a good year for him
