I don’t think it has anything to do with Brown’s decision, but I think it’s possible Kentucky backed off (/ didn’t put on the full court press) if they thought they had Brown, thus clearing his path back to NC State.
Wolverine3, my speculation was not that Brown was influenced at all by Kirk’s decision, rather that maybe Calipari got some info from Brown’s camp that made him gently suggest that Kirk take another look at NCSU.

Look at it this way…now that you’ve posted that, anyone here could go to another board and post “I am hearing Jaylen Brown to Kentucky”, as could anyone in the world reading that tweet. Big freaking deal. Unless they’re hearing it FROM Brown, or from someone he told it to, WTF does it mean? I don’t believe anyone who claims to know anything here really knows shit, even if the people who guess right claim otherwise after the fact. We’ll know when we know, and not before.

You sound like a real curmudgeon. This is a Michigan basketball message board. Jaylen Brown is a highly touted recruit who is going to announce his college choice in the very near future. He is considering Michigan. It is April, and not much else is going on with respect to Michigan basketball. People are going to over-analyze tweets and reports.

And we hang on everyone of them. I understand none of the twists and turning is coming from Brown. He has been a untypical recruit in that he is not tweeting his every thought and professing his love for every school. He is not seeking the attention that comes from a talent his level and I for one find that refreshing.

Right, same thing happen when he had suppositively cut his choices to Cal and Michigan and he had to say that it was false. I mean, it seems pretty obvious that everything is basically rumor. He might still choose UK but it’s not going to come on like that
