Dang. Wasn’t sure he was gonna make a huge difference but he definitely was the best available option for our particular needs. I really am starting to like the idea of recruiting a sit-one transfer. There are some solid options (and may be a whole lot more this summer), and its gonna be hard for Juwan to fill out each open spot next year with entirely freshman players.

He fit the profile of what makes sense from a roster POV but a traditional transfer could make more sense, especially with immediate eligibility as a possibility.

There WILL be transfers available! I think the NCAA will make them immediately eligible, but if not Cole Bajema, it’s time young man. Step up! You are a talented guy, so go show the world what you’ve got!
By the way, I like Bieniemy, too. Either way, immediate or sit one.

Has there been any confirmed contact from any schools with Bieniemy? I think he’d be easily the best pick-up for this roster, but it doesn’t seem like any confirmed contact has been by any schools with him.

Ah, well that would explain it. 
Any possibility we backed off on Kier with the change on transfer waivers? Saw across the way that he isn’t coming. . .
Last 10 or so posts are all about the pros and cons of exactly that.

I’m not going that far with this group. There are lots of worries and unknowns. If they add kier it will help bandaid some issues. We lost a lot here and the transfers burn.
If livers returns we will be solid. I think we’ll have a nice offense. Good class coming in but not sure how fast they can help.
I do think johns is ready though. Let’s see how it blends. This is a tough year to predict.
Edit: just saw we’re out for kier. Ouch.
