I could have seen it wrong, but I think Howard called a TO and put Williams in with under a minute left when he saw that PSU was going to small ball.
I definitely thought he could be a top 10-15 player nationally, probably woulda guessed #3 in the Big Ten after Garza and then in a battle and just behind only 1 of Dosunmu, Henry, Carr or one of the 5s (Cockburn, Jackson-Davis, Williams on Purdue).
IMO Johns main issue is he presses too much and makes silly mistakes on both sides. I keep telling myself its because a lack of minutes early so he comes in trying to do too much out the gate but that might not be a good excuse for too long now that he is going to be counted on more and it maybe just wishful thinking on my part.
I still think he works out but he was defininetly struggling at the five from what I saw. I was at work so I only saw glimpses here and there/the last 6 minute, but it wasn’t pretty a few plays.
They tried to put TW in for HD before our timeout but the refs said it was too late. To Juwan called his TO just to get TW inserted.
