I am appalled at how terrible we are on defense. It is one thing to be out matches physically and just get beat. But we don’t even understand roles, responsibilities, positioning… apparently Eli was holding it all together because this is horrific.
Also bad is our BLOB plays. We can’t even get the ball in let alone run any action!!

We sat and watched a talented team centered around Hunter fail last year because the pieces didn’t fit and then they really went out and got new pieces and they might fit worse. I am sad.

We are one of the least athletic teams in the conference. Beilein showed that can work if you can hit threes and have good spacing. We aren’t hitting threes and I think our ball screen game is broken.

I dont care what star these guys are. We need to start recruiting attitude. Guys that are dogs. Im sick of having soft teams.
The defense gives up good looks, offensive rebounds and does not force turnovers. When they actually have a good possession someone makes a contested shot. Really tough out there

Why is Baker a lousy FT shooter?
It’s oversimplifying it to say this is the only problem. But the team can’t shoot. And when you can’t shoot like this, you are a bubble team at best.

When everyone is playing badly I find it harder to get mad at personnel decisions
