Narrator: They didn’t.
thats terrible coaching you cant let a team catch the ball that far up the court in that situation
Ugggghhhhhhhh why tho
Pretty disastrous half overall on both players and coaches. Kind of blows my mind that Juwan refuses to play his best players.
Did we forget about daylight savings? Never seen this many breakdowns
Best part of the first half is Mark Turgeon calling DDJ…Nunez haha
This teams inconsistency is scary. Seems like a focus issue but maybe I’m wrong. Like Franz said the guys no what they need to do but they aren’t doing it for some reason. Team just seems to have no motor or sense of urgency.
I don’t really they’ve been making a particularly high level of tough shots. A couple sure, but they’re getting easy stuff for the most part.
And then let them advance all the way to the 3pt line with your 5’10" guard checking a 6’11" fantastic shooter
Turgeon: “Nunez is killing us”
Nunez: hasn’t played a minute
Was it? Forced it away from Cowan, seemed well contested to me. Just a great shot.
The transition d by z in particular was bad. The one dunk by sticks z just looked him off like someone else was there and left him for a dunk.
Nothing a game against Rutgers can’t fix…right!!!
I bag on Turgeon as much as anyone, but I do appreciate him clapping back on Katz.
Then he calls DDJ Nunez and my brief appreciation of him flickers out again.
Kind of concerning that the defense has been an absolute mess for a few games running this late into the season.
Also inexcusable for Teske to have 12 minutes to Davis’ 8 when he’s not in foul trouble.
Terrible half all the way around for anyone not named David.
you cant let guy catch the ball at damn near half court uncontested in that situation
It was a pretty clean look for a guy who shoots 40% and is literally a foot taller than the guy in front. As soon as Smith got the ball everyone just ran away like they were scared. Just a terrible half altogether.
Michigan goes as X goes and X didn’t show in the first half.
This all started basically when Franz got whistled for that second foul.
