Game 29: Nebraska at Michigan Open Thread

The fact that he returned to the game Sunday would seem to suggest this. If the medical staff suspected a possible ligament rupture that would not have happened.

Apparently Molly McGrath said that Matthews told her he had the ā€œsignificant ligament damageā€. I heavily doubt a player is gonna be describing their injury like that. Sounds like a big fuck up on ESPN’s part.

Knee-to-knee contact for Ignas Brazdeikis. He’s fine, just sore, per UM spokesman.

Significantly sore?

This a great bounce back effort but Nebraska is effortless on D.

Next two opponents and road are different animals.

Roby and Palmer start this half on the bench…

Big flaw with this team is poor passing. No one besides Xavier can throw a pass to a shooter in their pocket. Strange considering Beilein’s approach to fundamentals.

Teske has to let his body get square on that jump hook.

JP is sometimes just not interested.

Quick hook for JP. Must be tired? /sarcasm

DeJulius already. I love it.

I hate to be too critical with a 20 point lead, but being sloppy when you have a big lead is unacceptable. Imagine Bob Knight on the sideline for some of our recent plays. He would be in players faces, especially Poole.

What’s Teske’s career high?

Yea, he lost his guy who had a put back…JB yanked him for that

Here’s the ESPN interview FWIW, dunno why the mixed messages.

I’m all for a ā€œsend a messageā€ half to JP here

DB your ESPN link above isn’t working.

Edit: Fixed.

Looks like Nebraska is sending in Ole Neck Beard

Worked for me

I’m still confused :frowning:

Obviously, I hope ESPN screwed this up…
