Lol. Idk about Donnal. And he looked lifeless so many times.
Itās a shame but Davis is disappearing similar to Doyle.
McGary was kinda ready made based on rating. But Wilson, Teske, Moe were outstanding development jobs for big men. Even Max B was solid as a reserve the year the team had so many injuries and NBA entries. Donnal, Doyle, and now Davis were big dropoffs. Doyle couldnt catch and had no lift. Donnal had some okay moments (like his 20 plus outburst at Illinois) but was really soft, a defensive liability, and fallible. His missed layup in the tourney against Notre Dame was a killer.
Hopefully Castleton will emerge on the right side of history.
Yeah the athleticism of the B1G is too much for Davis. The Horizon League is a better fit for him. Unfortunately for him, it isnt coming together, even w sitting out a year.
Itās not about Casselton producing like this every night, itās finding a backup at the 5 that doesnāt get lost on defense and has the composure to finish open layups. Thatās all we need him to do.
Donnal is so much better than Davis. Canāt believe the hate he gets. Dude transferred to an ACC school. Iāll eat a hat if Davis does that.
Donnal comes up to about Castletonās shoulders. Castleton is a legit big man.
It does not matter if he does not score again this year. He shows glimpses of being a good player in terms of instinct, skill, agressiveness and attitude. A lot of reason to be hopeful, imo.
I agree, although I would like him to rebound, defend, and continue to score, a bit, and I think he will.
