State with only 4 turnovers is surprising to me
Only 4 turnovers for Sparty and like 50% from 3, and we have a chance to tie or take the lead.

We are playing very poor defensively. If we can reel that in for the second half we should be in good shape

Yep. Two turnovers from Iggy where he just got his pocket picked and two from Livers where he just wasn’t paying attention. Take those away and we are probably winning. MSU is taking care of the ball. But they’re also not getting to run as much as they like and transition teams usually turn it over a decent amount just because they play so fast.

you lose one anyway at the half. It was a decent look that Simpson makes ~ 50% of the time.

I don’t like games where Simpson leads the team in shot attempts. 10 attempts in a half is way too many for a low percentage scorer. more than double anyone else on the team

Refs let a lot of contact go in the first half. I’m going to pull out what little hair I have left if they tighten the whistle in the second half.
