Game 27: Michigan at Minnesota Open Thread

Think you mean DDJ.

Timing is everything. Penn st is suddenly looking at least a bit like what they should of been. Still ugly but…

I get this isn’t the squad of two months ago, but the wins are impressive. Are there two more impressive wins then nova at nova by 37 ( I repeat 37) and Unc by 17? Novas fading sure but I still think they end the year in the 16 range. Unc is the 6th best team imo. Sure better wins maybe but sheer beat downs of a good team and a very good team.

I mean this team didn’t play a single digit Game the first two months if I recall. If this team ends the regular season with 4 losses it should be in the mix.

Indeed I did.

Nova was by 27 but might as well have been 37.

Really? What’s weird is i thought it might have been 40 but I couldn’t remember exactly. Was Unc by 17 at least?

I also think South Carolina is going to look like a nice one soon enough. Team is pretty good.

Yep, UNC was by 17 (and Purdue by 19).

Just saw that. I don’t remember them winning by that much. They’ve had 19 wins by double digits. 2 by 9

I’m surprised their numbers aren’t better. I get why they’re viewed this way but the body of work is nice.

I think a lot of the big ten has pummeled each other so hard that it’s actually making it look like a lack of “good teams” I think people have to remember what the league did out of conference.

With penn st, Rutgers, and Illini suddenly being tough outs it’s a free for all.

Oh well , a couple big road chances to prove a point. Let’s hope they do it.

Yeah, there were also signs that he could shoot in high school. I have to believe Teske’s 3 point shooting only goes up from where it is now. Clearly JB believes in him. I definitely think he has some 3 point shooting potential.

FWIW, I will never understand how some bigs seem incapable of developing low post moves. When I was in 6th grade my buddy who went to a big-man camp showed me “up and under” and “drop step” in one afternoon and I used it for the rest of my life. Also, it just doesn’t seem that hard to put your shoulder into a guy and pop a hook shot but for some guys it is like an unattainable impossibility. Haha.

I’m with you but some people have a hard time with the back to the basket. It’s not natural for some like me of you. The footwork isn’t natural and is awkward for them.

All the years of playing and I still can’t hit reverse lay ups. Not sure why but I can’t do it. Some people just don’t or can’t make these movements or shots
