I was hoping that we would see the double-pass inbound there toward the end.
Wow has Bill Walton aged.
Looks like Dawkins bout to lose
Discussion: Time will tell over the next year, but is Teske officially Beileinâs best development project at UM?
I have it between Teske and Caris based on not being highly coveted recruits. Most fans saw Teske as an oaf (similar to Doyle, Donnal, Austin Davis). LeVert was just a total string bean and a hidden gem in the making.
I think its between Teske and DJ Wilson.
I strongly disagree on Teske being viewed as an oaf. I was pretty happy with him as a recruit (and I think most people were?) due to his combination of size and agility. The big concern was rebounding, but he seemed like an elite defender coming in as a recruit.
Not that I disagree that you SHOULD be right, but who do you think we would replace on the 1 line? I donât see Duke, KY, Gonzaga, UVA, or TN being replaced given the way the polls have gone.
EDIT: I completely forgot about (disrespected) Nevada.
Ah, yeah. I cant believe I forgot Wilson already. He was a total resurrection into the 17th pick of the draft.
Teskeâs upside is tremendous. To bring an old school reference, I think he could become similar to Michael Doleac (Utah Utes '98) if he develops a serviceable post up game.
Polls donât matter too much but I agree with your overall point. One line is tough this year, not much of an opening unless UK and UT lose a couple
Yeah, Wilson was a guy that people were speculating would transfer for PT. A year later he was a first-rounder.
Lot of bb left. Not improbable that two of those teams lose 1or 2 more games during season. Nevada has no shot at a 1 seed.
One thing I am having trouble with lately is the basketball universe seems to be falling in love with all things ACC (again) and tending toward downplaying the difficulty of playing in the B1G - at least in the polls and on the broadcasts outside B1G network.
I respect your opinion but a lot of fans saw Teske as not a B1G player when he came into the fold. Especially his freshman year at Crisler when Ethan Happ made him look like a lost kid in the forest. He was Shaqtinâ a Fool.
X and CM 4-4 on free throws rest of team was 2-7
I feel weâre being disrespected a bit but weâve not looked like the juggernaut of the first 12 games. Still to be shooting so poorly and still grinding is impressive to me. Just a little nervous we might never reach our offensive peak.
Minnesota message board:
âBeilein is so good. Must be fun to cheer for a well-coached team.â
âWe got Tubby the same year they got Beilein. We thought we won that one.â

The Penn State loss brings that shade. Also lack of depth. But if we can go 9 deep, which looks like itâs in the works, that shade will go away.
9 deep??? the 7th guy played 1 minute in the second half
Kinda nine shallow. But I thought it was fairly ballsy to play Castleton and DDJ early tonight. And it went. . . okay.
Nunez? Nunez did not play.
