Game 22: Michigan at Michigan State Open Thread

If Michigan were taking a bunch of outside shots, and they weren’t falling, you’d say they need to force it inside more. When shots don’t fall, the offense tends to look bad.

The fact that reports were Eli walked under his own power, say it’s not a break. That’s the most positive news one could expect after watching that replay.

I think the biggest thing is that Hunter isn’t finishing as well. That hook isn’t falling like it did earlier in the season. He needs to diversify his post game. He should learn that up and under that Davis does.

To be fair, neither can MSU.

That’s all I’m saying, I’m not saying he couldn’t be out till next week. I’m just putting it out there that it could be a less serious sprain (like what it sounds like with Wieskamp)

Henry hunting his against Wagner would be really good news for us.

I think what we are saying: open 3’s = good. Highly contested 2’s = not good.

You expect that from them though!

Part of what’s wrong with that left hook move, is he’s not setting it up with anything except maybe one dribble and a head fake. Defenders are timing it, and you know the Staee bigs are pushing him as he goes up. Hunter needs to diversify his moves - like a reverse pivot faceup, shot fake, then pass/shoot/drive. Anything other than settling for the left hook EVERY time.

EDIT - Just saw your reply @jemblue!

Did they just say that Eli is a very important cow or a cog for this team?
