I would love to know what the difference in shot volume was in the final 8ish minutes. Rutgers was getting every offensive rebound and Michigan had multiple silly turnovers. That was so damn stressful.

This team sure likes to make it interesting. Good win against a solid team. First time I saw Rutgers for a full Game all year. I see why they’re a top 25 Squad currently.
Franz redeems himself late. I love that the kid wants to be like the guy to stymie runs and make big plays but he definitely leaves you clutching your chest and reminds you a few times a game he’s a freshman.
Still wish this team would play headier b-ball and stop making such silly turnovers and wasted possessions.
Huge win nonetheless. If livers could get healthy fast we might be on to something again.

The turnovers are a product of this team not having a go to guy in crunch time thus resulting in forced TOs.
Even with the increased turnovers, Michigan is 19th in the nation at giving away the rock. Not too far removed from Beilein’s squads. Some of these threads, especially on MGoBlog, make you think Juwan has no idea what he’s doing. The hysteria is ridiculous.

The refs allowed this one to be very very physical. I do like that normally but it was definitely A style that was in their favor today as they were very handsey and really bull rushing the rim.

Rutgers ended up with 36 more shot attempts (while Michigan had 24 FTA to 5 for Rutgers).

Was rebounding due to length or just bad bounces?
Think a lot of the sloppiness can be chalked up to fatigue. Teske is the only one that got any rest the whole half
