Game 20: Michigan at Nebraska Open Thread

I really don’t understand how fans have manufactured this super high potential for Bajema. Kid has made a few good moves in garbage time and people act like he’s a fully developed game ready player. Sometimes prospects in his range are big projects and its not sure fire he’d even pan out as a player

I’m not saying he’s a bust or anything but the sample size is way to small for anyone watching to tell what his potential is and that he’s playable now.

Another thing I thought of too, what if Juwan is planning on him transferring? I really don’t know if it makes a difference at all but maybe Bajema and Juwan are on the same page and Cole isn’t playing so he’d have all his eligibility if he transferred (if that’s a thing idk)

Franz (6) and Johns (4) combined for 10 turnovers :joy: and there are still people who dont appreciate the luxury of Xavier Simpson

Yep I agree with that as a good role for DDJ

I’m not sure why he isn’t playing, but I wouldn’t write off Bajema yet. He still has a lot of upside and room to grow.

I think the simplest answer is probably the correct one. Dylan has pointed out that he played at a small school against pretty weak competition in high school. He didn’t play in any of the upper AAU leagues either.

His learning curve for this level is really steep and he’s not even close to being ready physically. 6’7 and 175 lbs is rail thin.
