Wasnt great but love the effort for Johns tonight.

It is actually one of my favorite road trips. Great area around the PBA. Just didn’t think it would end up being this pivotal of a game …

How’s your arm doing from your mishap Dylan?

LOL. I’m back in action 100%.

I’ve avoided trips to Lincoln in recent years because it’s one of the hardest Big 10 venues to get a great seat at. Normally when they’re competitive it’s a great environment as it’s the only show in town.

Johns goes 5-6 from the floor, hits 5 fts, 7 boards and did a bunch of little things all game. Brooks gets 20, shoots 50% from the floor, gets 9(!) boards and only 2 turnovers. My co-players of the game in a possible season saver.

Mixed reviews for DDJ imo. I just have real doubts about his pg abilities in the future.

Biggest takeaway (other than Nebraska is pretty bad and making shots is nice) has to be that Dave did not look great, right? Not saying he cant improve, but he just doesn’t seem ready to be a playmaker and his off-ball movement to set up spot-up shots is lacking.

He was the guy I thought would step up and have a big game. Opposite occurred. These guys are all over the place.

Mixed? Except for early in the season he has been bad. I hope it improves, but have extreme doubt. What happened to the kid who dominated Foster Loyer in high school?

He’s absolutely brutal right now. I don’t know if he can fix his lower half in the offseason or if this is all it’s ever going to be. His feet/legs are just not there to defend a quick offensive player. His legs don’t even seem under him on offense all the time. It’s like he’s playing in street shoes on ice half the time. He commits brutal turnovers and - I’m not enjoying killing the kid, I’m going to stop. It’s not great right now.

Gotta take it and I hate to be negative but they are just so sloppy and careless at times. Combine that with a below average d and a turn around seems inconceivable.

Great to get a win. A win lets these guys breathe - we needed a head clearing win in the worst way. But right now this is not good. A lot more to say, but I think I could sum most of it up by saying this team makes even the easiest things so hard.

He looked good late against Illinois and would have been a key game saver had they hit the free throws but yea he’s been rough.

I can’t imagine that Bajema could possibly be worse than Nunez. Very odd he is not getting any PT.

Nunez is great if you love terrible shot selection, 15% shooting, and no defense.

Don’t forget his dribbling skills!

DDJ has never excited me as a PG or even major contributor at SG. He is a limited role player that you hope to get some solid bench minutes from.
