Great timeout by Kampe.

I can’t believe how flustered everyone looks against Oakland. The talent disparity is enormous and yet Michigan is out of sorts

Not making open 3’s isn’t helping

Why do I care about sports? All my teams lay eggs all the time

How many one pass threes have we chucked?

This is the first moment I start to think we might actually lose the game.

I can’t even put into words how disastrous that would be to the season

When does Franz start doing stuff? I know some have him pegged as First Team B1G and a first round pick next year. He could get there yes, but totally nonexistent last game and so far tonight. If he’s not this teams best player, they’re in trouble.

Garbage call there

Michigan sports, what else can we say

This is Michigan sports; as a spectator over the last 30 years; I’ve learned that we’re more likely to find a way to lose than find a way to win.

If Michigan doesn’t jump out to a fast start in football or basketball; their likely in for a dog fight until the clock reads 0:00

I can’t really disagree there.

Agreed, we are now the underdog. You give a weak opponent hope, and that basket starts looking a lot bigger to them. Watching Oakland crawl back from 10 down while Smith was on the bench has put all the pressure on Michigan’s players.

It’s been a tough weekend overall, never thought this game would contribute to it.

Simpson was a bridge between Beilein’s offensive style and whatever Howard is hoping to establish here. I think we all knew the Xs and Os coaching would be a huge step down (particularly on O, though the Yaklich-Simpson-Teske era was obviously great on D) and that recruiting would get much better, and the big question with Howard will be is he a Mark Turgeon/Rick Barnes type coach who’s a top 10 recruiter but arguably not top 50 in game coach, or can he be a Calipari type who is good on one end of the floor and great at recruiting, which is enough to be a consistent top 10 team.

Guys one game
