Robbie Hummel is one of the better player-to-analyst/commentators out there, IMO. Ben Brust, not so much—he’s still relatively new at it, so I’ll keep him in the TBD category.
Teske just seemed really slow at times to reach out and grab that ball. Pure speculation here, but he’s played three years in a system in which his coach preferred bigs to box out but to let the guards grab the ball when possible. Maybe this is an adjustment process for him.
This explains Duncan Robinson’s getting starts for the Heat this year, I recall reading somewhere.
Feel the same about Brooks in particular. Delighted to see him making an impact in exactly the way you’d want that kind of player to do so.
