Did that not just go off Gorgi!???

Floor spacing is key to success. Teske taking 3’s is key to floor spacing. It’s nice when he makes 1 of every 3 or 4, but that’s all about spacing.

To add to your point. Teske 3 pt shooting down over last year while over all FG % being up. Add in his FT shooting is now over 70% and yes I want him to spend more time in the paint.

Open 3s aren’t good shots if the people shooting them can’t make threes… Not the same thing as paint looks in that respect

Yea. Dumb basketball.

This team just has zero high-end scorers. It’s a team full of #2 and #3 options.

That’s not true. It’s spacing. You start turning down open 3s then your 2s become more difficult.

How is that not a foul on the shot?

Seeing Fraser take a seat on the bench is the most pleasant thing I’ve seen all day.

Nicely done Eli, pump fake to a lay up.

A layup.
A made layup.
And before I can finish. A made layup on the other end

Nichols altered the shot…

by hitting Franz on the wrist.

Oof Franz looked on-line earlier but not sure what was going on in that last shot ha

Sure, in some respects, but you can create worse levels of spacing that still work without using the three point line. People did it for decades. It’s not as simple as it being impossible to win a basketball game without making 3s at a high rate.

Michigan isn’t doing that. They are shooting shots that they should be shooting for the most part.

Livers looked very comfortable on that drive.

With respect to the spacing and Teske shooting 3s. I don’t really know if opponents are actually respecting Teske’s shot, so I’m not really sure it’s creating a spacing advantage anymore.

Give it time. Wagner will be elite. Brooks may be some day. But today, maybe you are right. It just sounds so condemning.

Gee maybe chucking up threes every time down isn’t a great strategy

Terrible, D. Reaching, no wilingness to take a charge
