With Cockburn around, it always looks like Illinois doesn’t know what to do with Georgie, who may well be the best passer on the team. At the end of last year, he was causing real problems for teams–now he’s like the 4th option.

Franz actually has great form beyond the arc and you kinda expect the shot to go down. They just aren’t

Teske should only ever be shooting 3s at the top of the key in perfect rhythm.

More post touches, penetration, etc.
His free throw shooting and stats from high level play last year also suggest he’s a high level 3pt shooter.
FWIW, his one 3 this game was.

No one is am saying they should never shoot an open three again. Just less of what are proven to be low percentage shots on this team.

Two bad fouls by Jon Teske in the first 2 minutes of the first half. He now has 3 and Michigan’s backup bigs have really struggled to guard in space.
