Use the damn backboard, Jon

Teske has to make that

How does no one step to Lamar??? How the hell did you think that possession was going to end?

Forget it, we’re done

John’s doesn’t seem to understand spacing. Everytime they get out on a secondary break, he goes in the same space as another teammate.

Penn State is the better team

If UM loses this game, they are in trouble for the rest of the season

This. I noticed that earlier. He’s constantly standing in awful spots for an offense to flow well.

How can Johns be such a solid physical rebounder and such a soft player under the basket on offense?

Time to yank teske and send a message, that defensive effort on Stevens in transition was pathetic. The defensive effort from him just isn’t there anymore.

No question PSU is better. As is the vast majority of the conference. Illinois now looks like a clear loss.

Who’s guarding Jones anyway?

That was on Franz, too. That was disgraceful transition defense from him.

I see it more as just awkward near the rim on offense. Remember those silly offensive fouls where he lowered his shoulder?

No one? :man_shrugging:

As it stands right now, I would be happy to get to the opening round at Dayton.

Feels like something isn’t right with Teske right now. He’s not looking like the confident senior he was in November/Dec.

The game needed when Teske missed the layup then bozo got his shot blocked but he picked up the rebound and tossed it in somehow

If Wagner isn’t going to shoot the ball he should be riding the pine.

Maybe we just need a little classic Wagner feistiness to wake up

It honestly feels like he’s a little confused as to what exactly he’s supposed to be doing on both offense and defense. He looks tentative and frustrated.

But I’m very frustrated with his lack of fire. His leadership on the court has been weak.
