The step Teske has taken back defensively is something

Eli can’t even get an obvious foul call. SLUMP be brutal right now.

I guess fouls don’t count in the last 5 seconds

Absolutely terrible last 4 minutes. Had a chance to put them away and gave it all back

Frustrating. We’ve looked like the better team most of the day and now they’re right in it. Gotta regroup.

What a terrible way to close out the half should have been up at least 6-8 points and got to give Teske help he is getting beat every time!! Why is Nunez on the floor should be Dejulius and Brooks has been bad since Atlantis.

The substitutions are just terrible

Three’s no reason really that Nunez should be taking minutes from DeJulius.

I don’t know what is going through Juwan’s head that makes him think Castleton deserves more minutes than Dave. Not giving us the best chance to win with this minute distribution.

Last play seemed egregious to me but what can you do. Hope the momentum doesn’t carry over

At least Purdue is up 24 :man_shrugging:

I don’t understand how Teske can allow his dignity to be taken from him every single game in the post.

The unfortunate side effect to Coach Howard’s stubbornness to even randomly double team Oturu is the humiliation of Teske, who at one point, was considered a terrific defender.

The one thing you never had to worry about with JB. He was always going to get his best guys on the court as much as possible.

Ugh, frustrating way to end the half. Nunez took fie away from the O, stubbornness to not double the other team’s big, and a missed foul call at the end … grrr.

Very NBA approach by Howard to Nunez and Castleton. Trying to get them PT during relatively low-leverage moments.

He’s a better weak side defender if anything now. This is not a small sample of him getting destroyed in the post 1-1.

How is the last 4 minutes of the half low-leverage? Tbh, it’s more like a 5th grade approach than NBA approach.

It seems clear at this point that while Jon is a good help guy, he’s not that great man to man. Maybe the math works out to never double though since we seem to win the games when an opposing big goes off.

Relatively low leverage. We had a good sized lead, it’s the first half, etc. He’s not going to see the floor again if the game stays close.
