Game. Blouses. Suck it refs.
Amazing poise by this team to just keep playing through this officiating. Really impressive to have a lead like this right now
Those last two takes to the basket by EB and Franz were
A Zavier Simpson flashback from Eli
Kudos to the guys not losing their composure out there with these calls
That brooks ālayupā was stupid. Oh my lord.
So Brooks gets tripped up after his layup and Edey steps on himā¦no call. (Which is correct). Earlier the Purdue guy fell on his own near Brooks and gets and and-1.
Every time we talk about it out of a game I trick myself into thinking that heās fine overall despite his constant horrible takes, but then every game Iām reminded of just how terrible it is. I think itās something about how confident he is in the badness.
Those calls always drive me crazy because it always looks like theyāve started their dribble before the second foot moves.
I love this team
Michigan hockey also taking care of business on the road in Indiana. Up 3-1 over #16 ND with 3:19 left on NBCSports
Earlier on in the game Stephen Bardo said that his coach in college told him that his first shot should never be a 3 because you could get a better shot from 2 if you worked harder. That really stuck out to me as some flawed logic so I decided to look up Bardoās college stats.
To me itās pretty evident that Bardo should have been shooting more threes. And I donāt think it was a good idea to tell him his first shot could never be from 3. I donāt know much about Illinois basketball in the late 80s but I think the thing holding back those Illini teams could have been their coachās mentality on the 3 point shot.
Sorry about very off topic post now I just kept getting distracted by this very entertaining game
For real, though, to the guy that analyzes reffing, I need to know that Iām not insane and need this game determined on a scale of crazy homer (1) to Juwan that refās daughter (10).
This team has unlimited grit
Iām not sure Iāve ever complained about the reffing before (I canāt confirm) so it must be really terrible for me to be commenting on it.
I think that play is a good example of what I was saying about not calling a travel unless youāre 100% certain you saw a travel. Some officials definitely see what they want to see on that play.
I also think it is really hard to be that precise with your ability to see it. I am not a ref (which we are all thankful for) but I have watched a ton of basketball. I rarely see what they are calling on those plays. Maybe it is obvioua on the courtā¦but I havenāt been able to see it. Tough.
Franz should have passed but another no call, wild
Of course Wagner canāt get a call
