Welp…,.turning it off. Juwan stupidly goes to a zone, stupid turnover for a runout, giving up 8-8 on threes.
I mean the defense has definitely had its lapses but any team going 8-8 on 3s is simply on fire and getting pretty lucky.

Not to ignore my own advice but I have to disagree that this is a “bubble” team – it is not anywhere close to the bubble right now. It looks like a team that will finish under .500

Some real bad d but they also caught fire and hit a few really tough 3’s.
I’m really really concerned with the continued sloppy to’s and lack of poise during the run.

Ucf is 8/8 from 3 so as bad as we played there’s still a scenario this game is tied just from shooting luck

At the risk of sounding like a whiner, critical calls and no calls at crucial times enabled their run.
One of these days juwan will recruit some more guards with size and the ability to create off the bounce and/or be plus shooters….
Some of that is just guys going off, but sometimes they have left the guy you can’t leave open - wide open

He tried. Missed on all of them. The late Beilein PGs in Zeb and DDJ being not good or PGs certainly did not help Juwan
John’s should not play another meaningful minute. Williams should have limited minutes, only at the four and against smaller teams. Houstan’s minutes need to be reduced. Bufkin needs to play more. I would also give Zeb some run as a defensive stopper.
This team isn’t fun to watch right now. They don’t do anything well.

I agree with this. Without this team playing completely different than it has so far this entire year, I don’t see them having a winning record. This has been the worst possible nonconference you could’ve imagined.

There’s some luck involved, but teams seem to consistently have their best shooting nights against us. Clearly that’s a pattern that isn’t solely explained by luck
