I am less worried about MN out scoring us given their shooting struggles than I am Michigan not being able to score.
But when youâre down 7 at halftime in the road youâve removed all margin for error
I think a lot of his off ball work gets overlooked on offense. He just has a nice feel for the game, always in the right spot, always making the right cut. Spacing and flow feels better often times when heâs on the floor. That being said, weâve had some really poor possessions that arenât just due to his absence. Lots of things to adjust moving forward.
Eric Curry and Austin Davis are leading their respective teams in scoring. (3 way tie in each case, but still).
Take out a guy that runs a mile around the hoop every offensive possession even if he doesnât touch the ball and things clog a bit.
My guess is this is a higher scoring second half on both ends. Gotta go out there and score more than 40 I think.
I think Wagner/Smith/Livers need to go all 20 in the second half.
Excited for second half adjustments and calmed nerves.
Well this is a good test for this team and Juwanâs 2nd half adjustments. At least we donât need this game. But that might be part of the problem - Minny wants it and UM came in a little too fat and happy.
Eli is a way better and creative passer than brown, ball pops way more with him in.
Remember when John Beilein started Eli for Zavier Simpson early on⌠Coach B talked about how well Eli helped the ball move. Think itâs clear how much M misses that so far today.
One thing I like about Juwanâs substitution pattern is that the least efficient lineup combinations generally play more in the first half than the second. He seems to experiment with other guys to see who might give a spark in the first half then tighten it up in the second half.

LOL, you win the internet today.
Thatâs the best around
Horrible half I just donât see how they win this game. Yes by shooting better and cutting down on turnovers but I donât see Minnesota going 0 for behind the arc in the 2nd half. Also tail end of the half Minnesota was just playing downhill getting into the lane and got 6 FTs in a span of a couple minutes. Without Eli they miss ball pressure on the perimeter and itâs difficult for other defenders to play passing lanes.
Lets see if the trend of early 2nd half Michigan being 3rd quarter Warriors holds. Itâd be nice if it did.
totally agree. guaranteed loss
Iâve never felt better about a half than I do right now
