Who was he sending a message to, AC, his scout team? “Hey you guys didn’t show enough emotion on the bench when the starters were in there. You didn’t cheer hard enough from the bench. You need to show the kind of emotion Michigan’s non rotation players showed! You’re not playing until the last minute of the game!”

Exactly, but it is what it is. I’m glad the end of the bench players got some experience against starters especially for Zeb because we are going to need him next season

That was the best possession of the game and I will not be convinced otherwise. It should be playing on repeat in the practice facilities years from now as a motivational tactic

I agree. For our guys, it was great experience, but guess what, we might just say they play against better players EVERYDAY in practice than the way Wiscy played tonight. Having said that, these kinds of games happen sometimes and as a coach there is really nothing you can do. Wisconsin, of course, is MUCH better than they were tonight against us, and credit our guys and our coaching staff for that because our defense was incredible, and for much of the game we were just in a groove offensively! I REALLY wouldn’t want to be the next team to play Wisconsin, and truthfully, we had better be ready when we go to the Kohl Center! But BOY tonight was fun. And it was fun to watch our kids on the bench, because that bench support was terrific, too!

I took a lot of satisfaction in Juwan having a long and cordial talk with Gard after the game. Love that he’s kicking ass and still making friends.
