Two games ago, against Minnesota, I said that Michigan had played one of the most complete games Iād ever seen. I donāt even have the vocabulary for this one.

I typically donāt criticize coaches too much, but as badly as his starters got their butts kicked and were so totally outplayed by our kids, why in the hell did Greg Gard keep his starters in the game until a minute to play after we took our starters AND our first three subs in the rotation out with 3 and a half to play?!? We even took a TO to get our starters out. None of my business, I guess. Itās his team he can coach them anyway he damn well wantsā¦or, like tonightā¦not!

Itās been like this in the last few blowout games where opposing coaches kept their starters in against end of the bench so their NET rankings donāt take too much of a hit. The game was not as close as the score indicated but itās still 20+ point win.

Same, words canāt fully capture this one. It was almost like in the second half the announcers didnāt even really know what to say half the time and they just kept talking about the conference or the cutouts in the stands. I feel like at a certain point you just run out of ways to say a team is good

Iāve watched ACC basketball for years and they never sub out all 5 starters until under two mins, even in the largest of winning blowouts. Usually the team getting blown out keeps starters in until the end hoping to finish with some level of positive momentum.
Edit: yet another reason I absolutely love our coach!
