This is the 3rd game in a row where the announcers have said, “_____ is just having a bad game.”
I’m not sure they’re “just having a bad game.”

Absolutely! Juwan is so classy, and those kids who were going crazy on the bench all night work so hard in practice everyday. They are a huge part of our success and I’m sure pleased OUR coach recognizes that and gives them the opportunity to play more than just 30 seconds or a minute of “mop up” time when he gets the chance to do that! Juwan is an impressive man, and he’s coaching some GREAT kids!
I said it a couple weeks ago. I love watching this team. Win or lose they are so fun to watch.
Just amazed at how many things had to go so right for this team to come together like this. Hunter is a grown-ass man with crazy touch. Chaundee Brown plays like everyone on the opposing team took turns kicking his dog every time he’s on the floor. Mike Smith had big shoes to fill with running the offense and he has far exceeded expectations. I’m enjoying it.
Chaundees putback dunk was awesome. Smith putting multiple Wisconsin players on a poster was unexpected. Hunter dominating the second half has become routine.
Does anyone know if Juwan hired Mutumbo as an assistant coach we haven’t heard about? Shocked at all the blocks.
I love how Franz is playing, and that he’s doing it in a pretty low-key way. His length is crazy. On offense it looks like he has nowhere to go then in two steps he’s laying it in easily. And he’s just a menace on defense.
Chaundee Brown is easily the biggest difference btw this year’s team and last year’s. Colin is doing pretty well in ACC but trading Colin with Brown was the best off-season move, you cannot ask for a better 6th man with this group of starters.
Hot take time - considering what looks like an easier B1G schedule and that we just blew out a “contender”, are you going to be disappointed if we don’t win a regular season conference title?
Plus we got Mike Smith as the player to be named later in the deal
Yes. Need to make up for the 2013/2019 teams falling short.
IMO it’s hard to say “disappointed” no matter what happens cuz this team is exceeding expectations by so much. But I think having two games up on Illinois & Wisconsin and a game up on Iowa, all while also having less games against that group is a massive swing of the pendulum toward Michigan being the favorites.
I’m glad that Chaundee decided to transfer to Michigan. He has been a boon for the team and the fact that he didn’t care about stats because he wanted to play in the NCAA. Same thing with Mike Smith. Both are desperate to play in the NCAA that they are willing to play at a reduced role to do so. These are the type of transfer that usually benefit the team.
Agree. Smith showed a little tonight how he can get his if he wanted to, but that’s not his role. He has to be smiling all the time that when he dishes the ball the guy is actually going to make the shot. Brown just comes on the court giving 120% all the time and that’s infectious.
Agreed, I think it’s time to start having some expectations for this team.
I was nervous about Castleton and DeJulius transferring. I was extremely wrong.
That’s incredible
Has Michigan Twitter activated the “you just lost to ___” yet?
That’s insane
I don’t really like putting expectations like that because 1. It’s still not even a 50/50 chance right now even if we are the favorite and 2. The season will be much more fun if I don’t put such expectations on them
If we win the next 3 or 4 in a row then it’s time for that
