If Eli can continue this effort through season when he heads to the 2nd unit we will def benefit for it

Confidence is an intoxicating elixir.

Definitely believe JW is pushing “comfortable play” over “mistake-free” Beilein ball. Hopefully it drives confidence and deeper bench this season.

Down by 20 points, Appalachian State busts out a bit of 3-2 zone.

My biggest concern in this game is Nuñez and DDJ staying in front of their matchups defensively. Seems like they can be taken easily.

Agreed. Definitely less thinking and more just playing. Believe that’s helped Eli.

Nice to have 6” on every defender, but Teske looking like different player being fed the ball. Development progressing

In fairness to them, they might improve with more playing time under their belts.

Poor kid. Tailbone injuries are the worst.

Nunez back in with two fouls.

It looks like UM is just going to have patience with Brandon Johns to grow into the role everyone else sees for him.

You can see how J Howard would like having 4 men on the court that can put the ball on the deck and go iso.

…pretty sure Michigan just went 2-for-1. I dig it.

Nunez is a walking foul

Will they call the flopping rule in Madison???

Guys like Castleton, Johns, and Livers have shown dribble penetration.

Agree, you just cannot play him. He is terrible on defense.

He’s going to have to learn, or he’s not going to be on the floor!

I’m not sure if putting Nunez back in make me more or less upset about the auto bench of X
