Franz will announce when he is ready. Not to be rude, and I respect that many of you do care, but, frankly, I donāt care when Kawhi announces, or really, for which team he announces.

I agree with you. I let him make his decision on his timeframe. UM coaches seem to be comfortable with it, so us fans should be as well.

So now that Franz has committed Iād say Michigan is likely done with 2019. But there is one last player that they should take a crack at. Kyree Walker. 6ā5 SG/SF. Borderline 5 star/top 30 recruit. Powerhouse guard. He mentioned Michigan as a school recruiting him and a place he wants to visit (the audio was horrible though). There has been chatter for the last year that he could reclass up. Heās really old for the 2020 class and he could play the 2. The NBPA video he mentions maybe visiting Michigan. His other schools are primarily west coast schools. If Michigan could somehow land him then there would be a legitimate case for Michigan being a national title contender this year.

Feels late for a reclass?
Its technically allowed up until the week before classes. Based on Michiganās unique situation I wouldnāt be shocked if they kick the tires with a few 2020s who can reclass up. Addison Patterson, Kyree Walker and Matthew Alexander Moncrieff are three that I know have considered reclassifying up. Doesnāt mean they will but Michigan could try to get any those 3 and Iām sure there are a few others. If Michigan could somehow pull a Patterson or Walker to come in or some SG/wing of that caliber for 2019 then Michigan turns into a real sleeper in the national title race. Tons of depth and a guy like Walker can get a basket late in the shot clock. Walker is also a willing and very good playmaker. Heās a meh shooter but not bad.

Kyree Walker will also carry a TON of hype with him.
If you follow high school hoops Kyree is one of the biggest names out there, in terms of basketball and his personality.

Lol, Indeedā¦Michigan fans have at tendency of building larger than life expectations during the off-season (though our American football fanatics are probably worse about thisā¦).
But, I think weāre all excited to see Franz develop and like Mo, heāll always be a beloved wolverine (no matter what). Heās certainly a unique talent. Iām more impressed by his humility and humble presence online. Seems like a young kid with unique maturity.

Believe that Ihnen played for Bayern Munichās youth team. They probably played together at some different youth events with Germanyās national team along the way including the Albert Schweitzer.

very close, he played for IBAM (International Basketball Academy Munich) and he is a year older than Franz. Heās currently on the u20 natāl team roster. The team is about to start their Euro Championships this Saturday in Israel.
