Former Michigan Players in the NCAA

I really think that he and Hunter would make great professional wrestlers. They could even be a championship tag team before having a falling out and going at each other in WrestleMania 50.

I genuinely dislike vaguely named articles like that where you have to click on it to know who it is

A headline should set clear expectations! Or it should be some unhelpful but amusing nonsense written by @JD1 , who truly excels at that.

that’s the entire point, of course

Yes, and that’s why I hate it

The worst example of that in the internet these days besides click-bait AI articles is actually recipes. If you ever try to look up a recipe for something just to confirm you have the right ingredients you have to scroll through pages of useless background information on the dish and countless adds to find out you need a tablespoon of something that isn’t in your cabinet.

At least put the answer in the first paragraph.

I think he’s hurt and didn’t play in their last game. Madsen was pretty secretive when asked about it in his post game.

That sucks. Hopefully, he gets a redshirt and gets a post-season run next year.

He already got a medical redshirt for last season, so I think he’s technically out of eligibility. I imagine he’ll apply for a waiver to get another year, though.

That injury can be relatively short recovery times, but it would be probably the tournament at best.

With both being 1 seeds, should be back for the UM-Vandy matchup in the final four?

Dusty would do the honorable thing and win by a mere 15

Absolutely no reason Frankie C should not be allowed back for his 14th season of NCAA :basketball:. With a different team, of course.

@AC1997 provided an outstanding update several weeks ago and so I thought I would update his update. My stats are from ESPN and some editorial improvement from CoPilot. For example, I said Sam Walters appears to be a bust which CoPilot changed to ā€œhe’s still finding his footingā€ :joy:

Tarris Reed (UConn)

Tarris Reed has been a standout for UConn this season. Over 10 games, Reed is averaging an impressive 13.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks per game in just 23 minutes of play. He’s shooting 63% from the free-throw line and has attempted only one three-pointer so far. For more on Reed’s journey, check out this recent WHAT'S UP PODCAST: Tarris Reed Jr., UConn Basketball Player.

Frankie Collins (Vanderbilt)

Initially reported to be out for the season with an injury, Collins’ coach now says the situation isn’t as bad as first thought—though there’s no set return date. Before the injury, Collins played 9 games, averaging 21 minutes, 8 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds per game, with a 25% mark from three.

Tre Donaldson (Miami)

Donaldson has been a workhorse for Miami, leading the team in minutes (32 mpg) and contributing 16 points and 7 assists per game. He’s shooting 32.8% from beyond the arc.

Terrance Williams II (USC)

Williams has emerged as a key bench contributor for USC, playing 17 minutes per game and averaging 3 points and 3 rebounds. His three-point shooting sits at 25%.

Dug McDaniel (Memphis)

McDaniel leads Memphis in minutes played, averaging 15 points and 5 assists per game, with a 36% three-point shooting percentage.

Sam Walters (SMU)

Walters has appeared in just 8 games, averaging 10 minutes and 2.5 points per game, with a 26% three-point percentage. Early returns suggest Walters is still finding his footing at the college level.

Justin Pippen (Cal)

Pippen is thriving at Cal, playing 30 minutes per game and averaging 15 points, 4 assists, and shooting 36% from three.

Phat Phat Brooks (CMU)

Brooks is logging 25 minutes per game with 10 points and 3 assists, but has struggled from deep, going 0-for-11 on three-point attempts.

Isaiah Barnes (Valparaiso)

Barnes is averaging 19 minutes, 6 points, and 1 assist per game, with a 21% three-point shooting percentage.

Jace Howard (Fordham)

Howard has medically retired due to concussions, as previously reported.

George Washington III (FGCU)

Washington has only appeared in 2 games, and there’s no recent news available about his status.

Cooper Smith (EMU)

Smith is currently at the end of the bench, having played just 4 minutes with no points scored.
