They’re a budget team, try to do with Brighton and Fulham are, just worse at it

Play a park the bus bunker style, few goals. When I started watching they had Nuno as their manager, who played a big attack style, and Raul Jimenez hadn’t almost died on the pitch (how’s that, Dylan?) from a closed head injury so he was still a menace

Also Wolves just sold their best player to Saudi Arabia

I just watched highlights of their match vs. Arsenal. Blue with a little yellow is a nice combo. Didn’t love Enciso’s celebration after making the first goal, but an overall positive impression.

I support HNK Rijeka :croatia:

To OP who posed the question…as a lifelong American follower of the Bundesliga, please heed my advice: just stick to the Premier league. I chose Bayern when I was really young and stupid and yeah, following Bayern isn’t very appealing. Not many people outside of Germany care about the Bundesliga and if they do what’s the topic of deep conversation, Bayern winning the tenth title in a row?

Which leads me to put my hands up and shamefully admit that I really only look forward to Champions league nights every two weeks (if I’m lucky).

Dortmund is a really cool club, one that is always exciting to watch play and follow because of their constant stream of young players. Awesome club for a neutral but the problem is the BL is just off in quality. I’m sure it’s way more exciting to follow the BL as a BvB fan but the league has way too many warts for international fans outside of Germany. Clubs are broke so they’re always selling their best players to the Pl, production quality is not great, few stateside give af about it and so you’re always looking longingly at PL fans who have their own communities and stuff.

You can probably find a West Brom supporters group in a decent sized city faster than you can find a Dortmund one. La Liga has some presence but it’s mostly among immigrant communities and the way the football is presented is awful.

Hey what was for most of the year a way fight for the top spot was fun (through for Bayern fans probably just irritating)

I would never wish that ending on my worst enemy. If anything, it was an indictment on the quality of the whole league and a major embarrassment to the league’s reputation world wide lol The BL is not going to live this down for a while.

Pick a national team and be happy with the lo commitment option. I follow the Dutch who are world class and drama central but I’m seriously intrigued and considering turning my coat … I’m lucky to be 1/8th Norwegian so I could get the most valuable player in the world, an ultra classy midfielder and a bunch of hard running 6-2 guys who never say a quoted word, which is nearly the most attractive quality a footballer can have. Plus half the guys’ last names end w ‘Gaard so you know they have been bred to fight for glory.

End with! There’s a prefix!!!

When I picked Wolves, I just looked at a bunch of badges/crests I liked and then read the wiki of each club to see their history. Wolverhampton is very reminiscent of rust belt cities and since I’m a Detroit fan for pro sports here, it fit. This was in 2008, so they were in the second tier at the time. But I’ve never looked back.

I’d just read about certain clubs and pick one you like.

Don’t love Robinson being dinged again. Poor kid can’t stay healthy.

Expected Aaronson and Scally in. Hope Balo opens his account tonight.

Not too shabby to be able to bring on two major WC contributors out of the three changes, none of which were anticipated changes.
