Who is actually in charge then?

I think the two firsts were probably larger assets, or seen as at least equivalent

yeah I guess that’s right. I guess I just always liked Daniels and that player type in general. DARKO tends to like it too which I’m sure is a coincidence

losing the 8 seed bc Davion Mitchell rocked my team to sleep is pretty tough

How does Trae not demand the ball down 6? What would you say you do here buddy

Trae got himself tossed in Orlando and then decided he was over it in OT I dk how you can run it back with that guy. He’s telling you he doesn’t want to be there.

More or less, yeah. The main piece was the picks. Throw in is maybe to extreme but was not a whole lot more than that

I mean, the Hawks are just bad. I don’t know that this was not wanting it or whatever - they mounted a comeback to push OT

They’re just not good

My picks for the first round:

East

Cavs over Miami in 5
Celtics over Magic in 5
Pistons over Knicks in 6
Pacers over Bucks in 7

West
Thunder over Memphis in 6
Rockets over Warriors in 7
Lakers over T-Wolves in 7
Clippers over Nuggets in 6

Obviously JBart has a fond place in my heart for being a Michigan walk-on legend. His experience learning the NBA front office job came during the time the Pistons were absolutely trashing their roster though. He at least was gone before the Monty debacle, but he still was in the room when the decisions were made to draft Sekou Doumboya and Killian Hayes. Oof.

My guesses

Cavs in 5
Celtics in 4
Bucks in 6
Knicks in 5

Thunder in 5
Warriors in 6
Wolves in 6
Clippers in 6

He only held a basketball position in Detroit for like 7-8 months (was mostly in business roles, helped design their training center, etc)

For the Suns he is definitely involved, is generally regarded as the ā€œmindā€ behind the Beal, Nurkic, and Allen deals

It’s always of course good to remember who Bradley Beal’s agent is in cases like this

And so it begins…

6 of the 8 first round matchups should be reasonably competitive.

If you ever wondered what 1 on 5 offense ever looked like…this Bucks/Pacers game is a data point

MPJ is another one… what a loser

When C&S is the only thing you provide, you cannot be a statue off ball. Just doesn’t work to get his attempts whatsoever. He should be flying to open space every chance he gets. Watch any good shooter, they’re constantly sprinting. He just stands.

He’s just kinda dumb I think.

Oh he’s real life dumb for sure.

Basketball wise he still thinks he’s 5-star MPJ. He’s a role player

Hmm I think that’s harsh on him. He’s pretty well accepted his role. He tries on D and doesn’t got crazy on O. That he’s not running around getting shots is likely as much an issue with the offense as anything.
