I am sort of wondering how capable of staying healthy he is - lots of missed time to injury his junior and senior years, missed nearly his whole rookie season.

Pistons bench is awful. They need Noel, Burks and Livers back ASAP. Weaver should be looking for depth that they can depend on going forward as well as 3 and D wing players.

For what it’s worth, he can’t palm a basketball while moving. That said, I don’t think his hands are anywhere near Kwame Brown-level.
Edit: Aron Baynes and Zaza had worse hands than Andre as well. At least as Pistons.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Andre’s gotten worse. I don’t think he ever had the drive to be great. To be very good? Sure. Nothing beyond that. And maybe when he saw his career had peaked, even that diminished.

Grabbing boards is something you can do two handed and then carefully pass the ball to a guard. Hands on offense require you to do something with the ball, make decisions, deal with a defender, and often use one hand.
I still wonder why Kofi couldn’t catch on and do exactly what Drummond does.

Kofi isn’t as nimble as Andre. He may have a shorter wingspan too. I do still think there should be some way Kofi could help an NBA team as a 3rd or 4th big, but most teams would probably rather have another shooter.
He might make more money as a pro-wrestler, though. He’s certainly got the build for it.
