Detroit Pistons & NBA Talk (Part 2)

he’s willing to spend lots of money so that puts him ahead of a fair number based on that alone. He’s also super new, I’d give him a chance to learn a bit before declaring him a failed owner. Perhaps eventually he’ll hire someone smart and let them run it for him

Fair. Just think nuking draft capital until like 2033, hiring friends from MSU and firing coaches after 1 year is about as poorly run a team as I’ve seen lately. Sure he could turn it around

No way his sheer willingness to shell out absurd money makes him at least middle of the pack

Brian Gregory is an indefensible hire but Jordan Ott was going to be interviewed by every team with a vacancy, he may not work but the league consensus is absolutely that he was getting a HC job this year

Also given their structure it’s entirely possible the biggest voice on any coaching hire is Bartlestein

Ahh forgot about Bartlestein. That’s an elite hire(Disregard the allegations)

Thunder just get their hands on literally everything

Indy turned the ball over 18 times in the first half but are only down 12. They should feel half-decent about that.

Omg that Lu Dort stuff

I thought “real sliding doors moment, dort clearly fouled him and then SGA makes the layup on the other end” but then saw the replay and realized…no foul

Small ball alive and well
