My mom is from the Bronx, my sister lived in NY for 10 or so years and I lived here for a little over a year. I’ve been eating pizza the right way since I was in grade school.

P.S- No BINGBONG tonight. The Knicks may be toast.

Of course, there are small slices and deep dish options (plus the Chicago casserole thing)that don’t allow for folding.

I will say that I’m out of my element (or rusty) enough to have lost a $100 bill within my first 20 minutes in the city.

New Yorker Hotel?

The only thing worse than the Chicago casserole thing is the way Jalen Brunson plays basketball.

i didn’t feel like going to work today so in this way i am like nba team minnesota timberwolves

They are going to wind up losing this game by 50

This isn’t the first time they’ve shot horribly

They aren’t getting bad shots

Caruso is such a killer, probably the best non shot block defender in the nba

Gonna be one of those years where we have to go an entire week with no basketball waiting for the finals to start

Cool thing about the Thunder is that they invalidate all the trite complaints people who don’t watch the league have

“Nobody plays defense”
“No midrange, too many threes”
“Everyone plays the same”

also it’d be kind of fun for the OKC fans to finally get a championship for their young big three

The clear admiration Conley and Edwards have for how OKC plays is cool (video if you click)

Really interesting discussion on the Pistons offseason.

I do like the idea of S&T Schroeder for PJ Washington which helps solve the backup PF position. Schroeder/Tek + a future 2nd for PJ would make a lot of sense for both teams.

wait who is PJ Washington backing up in the scenario

this discussion seems to undervalue PJ and misconstrue what his present role is

I don’t see how that works

he’d be like…the third (?) best player on the Pistons?

Tobias. characters

why would PJ backup a worse player (hence my comment that the discussion undervalues PJ and miscontrues his role and value)

he’s a league average starting 4 getting paid $16 mil a year for two more years (it’s actually LESS because it was front loaded, $16 mil is the AAV)

that’s worth way more than flotsam and jetsam
