There has been the occasional close game. But this is turning into a rout. Wild.
This is what happens when you play crazy slow and the other team goes unconscious from three. Virginia should have come out of the half running. Instead they ran half court offense and attempted a bunch of late clock challenged threes, which they missed.

Well kenpom got the margin of victory right! Absolutely incredible that a team ranked 212 in offense is the first all season(!) to put up 70 on Virginia.

One of my biggest fears was Michigan eventually being the #1 seed to fall the a #16. Thank god that’s over!

Craziest thing is that I think I read that this UMBC team lost to Albany like 83-38 or something a few months ago.
I’ll bet you had to look it up.

I think it’s possible, looking at their bracket, considering how they played, that they may knock off a few more teams before this tournament is over.
Living in ATL, I can’t wait for the UMBC-Buffalo matchup at Philips Arena, followed by the Nevada-Loyola game. Tickets could be cheap!
