Some great games tonight. Ville-Texas tech, penn st-Maryland, Butler-Baylor ( two great teams here). I’m very excited. Particular for butler vs Baylor. If you haven’t seen either team check them both out.

tech played hard and muddied the waters. another ugly louisville game. still not sold on them but maybe its just their style
Honestly I still can’t believe we lost to the ville. Our guys were just so flat and out of it. They played solid d but it was more of our guys not being ready to play. Not like say tech last year when it was clear the better team won. Frustrating loss, but I hope we see them again, Michigan would handle them this time around imo.
Ville didn’t look like the powerhouse I expected to see coming into the year. This year is truly up for grabs if they are the number 1 squad.
Wow kamir Baldwin is straight balling. Kid is a top guard In the country. Not sure I can name five guards I’d rather have.
Butler and Baylor are scrapping right now. I’ve said if numerous times but this Baylor team is not playing games. Their guards over dribble at times and play a bit to much one on one so they get wasted possesions but when they play the right way and swing the ball ( see cuse Game in the tourney last year) then they are scary.
They’re so tough. They play great d, are relentless on the o boards and defensive rebound very well too, not giving up many second chances. It seems to wear on teams how tough and relentless they are on the offensive glass. Must wear on opponents legs trying to box out these wide bodies.
I love this butler team too. Jordan has a real contender on his hands.
Valiant comeback effort by Butler but IMO Baldwin blew it on their penultimate possession when instead of dishing to an open teammate in transition he just straight barreled into a set defender for a charge. A made basket there gives Butler the lead in a game they lost by one.
Saturday night? I thought it was scheduled for noon.
Not the only thing off base in that story.

UNC expectedly sucking against a team with somewhat of a pulse (top 150 Kenpom Wofford) without Cole Anthony. Down 4 with less than a minute. Turns out relying on grad transfers and a super freshman isn’t a great way to build a team.
