I was surprised how badly Oregon spanked Boise st. Tough to get a read on a team with that many transfers.

Kentucky dropped to 14th in the Torvik rankings. They were fifth entering the game (but were 12th in the preseason). FWIW, Evansville went up to 155 from 177.

Stackhouse is really struggling on the recruiting trail. Howard inherited the best program and didn’t land them all but there’s a big difference between juwans recruiting and the other recent nba guys (Ewing, stackhouse, mullin etc.). Juwan was in on more top guys this year than those guys were for their entire tenures.

Everyone is so impressed by their coach but I just don’t see it.
I see it in reference to his recruiting ability. I don’t see articles about Mike White being a great in-game coach too frequently.
His first year looked promising from that standpoint but it’s been downhill since
I think White is a great recruiter and a great defensive coach. Coaching offense is pretty clearly his weak spot.
Not ready to sell on Florida after a bad start (while building a team around a brand new player) yet though. I’m guessing that UF won’t shoot 24% from 3 all year.
