This Bama LSU game is highly entertaining

Idk if this game is indicative of how LSU plays most of the time, but it is incredibly chaotic. I’m having anxiety watching them

Dickie V threw out his 3 D’s…forgot the fourth D - Dollas for the fighting Will Wades

Isn’t Alabama a high volume 3 shooting team?

Yes, threes and close 2s.

So Daryl Morey system?

LSU in a very similar situation to us yesterday. Gives me flashbacks

2021: The year in which no one can seem to get off a good shot in the last 10 seconds of a game.

Noteworthy that they started their offense immediately and still had 7 seconds left after their initial shot was blocked, and THEN had a tip in opportunity after their next shot missed.

I can’t believe #15 missed the second chance attempt :man_facepalming:

Probably had more time to regroup than he realized.

In 2021-22, Nate Oats will be the head coach of:

A. Indiana
B. Texas
C. Maryland
D. Alabama
E. Other

Shaka and Turgeon aren’t leaving. I doubt he leaves Alabama

Alabama. You don’t understand the money down there if you think he’s leaving. When Alabama wants something, for better or for worse, they get it.

I think Michigan or MSU would be two of the few jobs Oats would be interested in leaving Bama for. Other than that I’m not sure. Maybe Arizona or Kansas if those come open in the future? I heard from quite a few people if Michigan would’ve reached out to Oats earlier than they did he’d have definitely taken it. Michigan obviously didn’t know Beilein was leaving. I think i recall Oats still being interested but the $ he was asking for to leave Bama after literally taking the job a few weeks before was way too much.

The one issue with Bama (true for the SEC in general) is that you are never going to be top dog there.

Not saying it will happen but if I’m IU I’m calling Oats after Beilein turns it down.

Tbh, I don’t think Oats would ever get an offer from Michigan. Not a cultural fit.

Yeah IIRC Sam Webb said that. And I agree, not a good fit at all. MSU would be a better fit. But the south suits him well.
