College Basketball Open Discussion

Kessler might be having his breakout game. If he can play anything like this moving forward he’s going to be a stud next year

Watching Kentucky game. There are mock drafts with Brandon Boston going ahead of Franz Wagner. Boston is terrible in college. My mind is blown

Carolina is such a fundamentally stupid team. A series of terrible decisions on offense and hands down at the three point line on D. Roy is a great skills coach but super underwhelming on game day and a lot of Carolina teams are shockingly low on basketball IQ.

They’re going to win this game but even there on the steal, you dribble off to the wing if there’s any doubt ffs :man_facepalming:

Welp, hopefully this UNC win pushes them ahead of MSU.

Now time to root for Xavier to finish off Creighton so they stay ahead of MSU

Xavier lost an important player for the year, right?

Yup, Nate Johnson who’s a grad transfer from Gardner Webb. 3rd on the team in ORTG on pretty low USG (16%), but he’s Xavier’s best and really only 3 point threat.

Yup, I know that NCAA is one and done but I feel that there’s a good probability that we will see the top 3 teams in the Final Four. They are head and shoulders above everyone else this season. I bet teams who are in the NCAA are praying that they’ll get the 4th region instead of the top 3 regions for that reason.

Cade is a stud. There is a reason why teams are #FadingForCade in the draft even though it’s a stacked draft. I hope the Pistons can get lucky to get #1 overall so they can draft Cade Cunningham to be their PG of the future.

Haven’t watched a lot of Duke this year. Didn’t they choose Mark Williams over Hunter?

Apropos of nothing, Colorado is on pace to break the all-time FT mark of 82.2% set by Harvard in 1984. The Buffaloes are shooting 83.1% on the season.

I’m surprised at FSU; at times, they have looked like the class of the league, by far and away. But highly inconsistent.

I just find the level markedly lower. Bad S&C, pretty anemic offenses. I’ve watched some ACC these past weeks and there’s a lot of woof. Watched a bunch of Pac 12 too and it’s crazy to compare our S&C to those teams.

Our old friends, the Ramblers of Loyola Chicago, are currently tied at 56 with Southern Illinois with 21 seconds left. SIU gets one more FT coming out of a timeout.

SIU misses the FT and then Loyola has just an awful last possession that ends in a desperation 30-footer that actually was remarkably close to going in.

It sure feels like Louisville is gonna force Duke to win this game.

#13 for Louisville is trying to lose this game by himself.

Him and their big man.

No situational awareness from Louisville

Louisville handling the press as well as they did against the Zion team. Just look like a high school team out there when Duke presses.
