I’m very interested in seeing how Eastern, if eligible, can operate out of the pick and roll. It may take his offensive game to a different level. Painter is awesome, but Eastern doesn’t exactly fit his offsense.
Exactly. That phrase is so loaded, people shouldn’t even use it anymore.
I’m a bit surprised Michigan hasn’t put more interest into his son Mason Miller. Wasn’t he rumored to be one of the players reportedly being shown interest in the 2021 class and since then nothing.
He definitely mentioned wanting to take a visit at one point last summer. Not sure that it ever happened.
Right. Seems a bit odd considering Miller and Howard are friends.
Off to the GLeague
Seems pretty severe, probably means ku and Louisville will be getting multi year post season bans
Maybe. We have seen the NCAA go easy on the blue bloods before, but this hopefully sets the bar for the minimum level of punishment we will see.
Has a small non-basketball school going all out cheating in an incredibly blatant way ever worked out? I guess LSU… for now.
UNLV is one possibility
Perfectly appropriate punishment for accepting bribes, in my view–miss the off-season.
NCAA’s sense of justice has always been exquisitely tuned.

For college basketball being viewed so negatively by many in America, its interesting that there’s a growing number of top European players bypassing pro options for college in the US
People that think the European basketball development system is better than the American system have no real proof, and basically are just falling into generalizations. I’m not really referring to college here, more HS/AAU.
Just as appropriate as when Louisville gave themselves a post-season ban when they were already having a crap season. That’ll teach 'em!
Michigan needs to go and hire Cannen (Cade’s brother) from OSU as an assistant in waiting and take Martelli’s spot once he or another assistant leaves just to land Cade this year
It’s of course not happening, but Cunningham really couldn’t fit this year’s roster any better.
Oh Forsure was just making a joke about it
Looks like a nice player and skilled at the PNR
Wasn’t sure where to put this, but I’m extremely proud to have Juwan as coach in light of recent events. I know it’s been previously mentioned how much of a bad look it is for the conference to have no other African American coaches. This is on the lower scale of importance, but I’d have to imagine that being able to play for a black coach could be a very big draw for some guys.
